Junior squash in Bedfordshire — county squads, coaching and a path towards junior county teams.
County squad programme
The junior programme has been rebuilt over the last 18 months. Sessions are organised through an app: about 36 players are on the squad, with around 10 at a typical session. Age groups are split into under-13 and under-11, and under-15, under-17 and under-19.
Gail Clark is Junior Team Manager and Sam Morris is County Coach. Dan Evans is the second coach. The AGM agreed in principle to two hours a week for the top four players. New junior kit is subsidised, not fully funded.
The aim is a junior county team, with A and B sides as the squad grows.

Most clubs run junior coaching — see Club Towers, Bedford Bulls and Luton & Dunstable to begin with, or find your nearest courts.

Carly Martiello is Child Welfare Officer. All county junior activity follows our Child Protection Policy and the Beds SRA codes of conduct for coaches, juniors and parents.
